On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me ...This beautiful collection features twelve gorgeously romantic stories set during the festive period, by some of the most talented and exciting YA authors writing today. The stories are filled with the magic of first love and the magic of the holidays.

I am not typically a fan of Contemporaries or short stories, but this collection had two big factors going for it- Christmas and Stephanie Perkins.  I have never read anything by Stephanie, *gasp*, but I have heard amazing things by it.

Overall, the short stories were very enjoyable- there were a few that I really wish would have been full length novels (and only one or two I considered duds. )  This was a solid collection and I enjoyed reading it.  It is funny, because as I was reading it, I thought to myself a few times, "Boy this writing seems familiar" and it was absolutely by a writer that I knew and loved.

It is past Christmas now, but it is absolutely still worth picking up and reading- nothing but warm fuzzies here!
