Jaime's Top Ten Tuesdays ~ Gotta be Re-Reads!
TTT hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
I am, by nature, a re-reader. If I absolutely love a book, I will be reading it again. If it is the first or second in a series, I am going to have to go back and read them again when the next book comes out. There are so many new, fantastic books coming out every day and it makes me wonder if I am crazy to re-read so much. But then I think, I don't really mind if it does make me crazy. I love it! Re-reading allows you an opportunity to pick up on new things, see things in a new perspective, and feel things in a new way. I guess that may make me crazy, but I am 100% okay with it! This list is no where near complete, as always. These are the first top ten that popped into my head!
The Lynburn Legacy by Sarah Rees Brennan
This series is phenomenally, epically, magnificently special. Right now it is in my top favorite spot, and I don't see it getting bumped off anytime soon. From the beginning of Unspoken to the very end of Unmade, this story and this cast of characters has captured my heart. It is one of the most special and important series to me, to date!
Splintered by A.G. Howard
I LOVE this book. I still haven't read Unhinged, but I have no doubt I will love and want to re-read it as much as this one. I can't wait to have a marathon read when Ensnared finally gets here!
A Breath of Frost by Alyxandra Harvey
This one took me by complete surprise. Stole my breath away, and easily became a favorite. I am actually getting ready to start reading it again now, and I am so excited I can't stand it. Whisper the Dead, oh you better be amazing! (I am not at all worried!)
Neverwas by Kelly Moore, Larkin Reed, Tucker Reed
Amber House was amazing, and Neverwas absolutely didn't let me down. It was so good. I can't wait to sit down and read it again, in preparation for the final book in this awesome series. And I can also say, Amber House was even better the second time around.
Experiment in Terror series by Karina Halle
Another one of my all-time favorite series. Now that the final book is out, I have this amazing plan to sit on my butt and read this entire series, books 1-9 and all of the novellas, in one go. Yep! Sounds like an awesome plan to me!
The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan
I really need to hurry up and find a copy of The Lovely and the Lost, so that I can sit back and re-read The Beautiful and the Cursed before hand! Sounds so good!
Dark Triumph by Robin LaFevers
Grave Mercy was just as amazing on read #3, and I can't wait to see how good Dark Triumph will be on read #2. Mortal Heart, I am coming after you soon!
The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
There is nothing that I can say other than I love this series, and it is worth another read.
(Don't You) Forget About Me by Kate Karyus Quinn
There are so many intricacies, so many depths and lengths and currents running through this book, I feel like I need to read it several more times to be able to even HOPE that I can catch everything. The good news is that I loved this book so much, it won't be hard to do at all!
Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter is the one series that I will read at least every year or so from here on out. I might be 32 years old, but this series means the world to me. I love hanging out with Harry, Ron, Hermione and Hagrid often!
Hope everyone enjoyed! See y'all next week!
