Summary taken from Goodreads:

Kate and Vincent have overcome the odds and at last they are together in Paris, the city of lights and love.

As their romance deepens there’s one question they can’t ignore: How are they supposed to be together if Vincent can’t resist sacrificing himself to save others? Although Vincent promises that he’ll do whatever it takes to lead a normal life with Kate, will that mean letting innocent people die? When a new and surprising enemy reveals itself, Kate realizes that even more may be at stake—and that Vincent’s immortality is in jeopardy.

In Die for Me, Amy Plum created a captivating paranormal mythology with immortal revenants and a lush Paris setting. Until I Die is poised to thrill readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave them desperate for the third and final novel in the series.

The Cover:  Like the first book, I loved this cover.  I wasn't really sure how the dress she was wearing fit in- it didn't really fit in with the story.  I love the textures that were put over the image and I love the font.  This is a beautiful cover and it fits well with the first in the series.

The Characters: The side characters:  Genevieve, Jules, Charlotte, Gaspard, and many more really were brought into the limelight in this book.  It is one thing to love the main characters, but when an author makes you fall in love with the ENTIRE cast of characters in a book, it elevates the book to an entirely new level.  I wish that this book could branch off to the other characters- I can't get enough!

The Story:  I wasn't head over heels in love with the first book.  I liked it, but I told myself I wouldn't read the second book unless I really really had nothing else to read.  I obviously didn't listen to myself and I am SO GLAD!  I loved this book so much more than the first.  I felt like I really got to know Kate, Vincent, and even the side characters so much more.  This story was non-stop.  I kept wondering to myself "Does Kate actually ever go to school?  Or does this much action happen to her after school?"  The author kept me on my toes as I was reading.  I was shocked with how many twists and turns the story took.  This was a story about Kate and Vincent, but their love did take a bit of a backseat to the main storyline.  And talk about a cliffhanger!  This was the MOTHER of all cliffhangers!  Whew!
